I Can’t Breathe. I was absolutely floored this week over the death of George Floyd. Yes it has happened time and time again but this was in the same week a white woman in Central Park saw fit to put a black man life in danger because he asked her to put a leash on her dog as required in that area. She told him she was going to call the police and tell them an African American man was threatening her life. And she did, knowing that in doing so she was putting a snipers red dot on his head. Luckily he filmed her actions otherwise the story may have not ended up as it did. That kind of racist mentality is what leads to the death of people like George Floyd.

My painting names just a few of the black people murdered by US police officers over the years. These officers are not sick individuals they are part of a racist establishment intent on genocide. FYI Tamir Rice was just 12 years old. It’s not enough to be non racist we must all be anti racist.
To be complacent is to be complicit.
