Working with JELLY

Just a few testimonials from previous clients who have worked with Jelly

215 HACKNEY

The quality of the (mural) artwork and the energy it emits to our customers is amazing. From the moment we got in contact with you till the end product you showed us that we had decided to work with the right artist. Your artwork and your character topped with your ability was so impressive it was a breath of fresh air to work you. I couldn’t speak any more highly of you because I don’t think there are any words to describe your love of life, your energy, your great smile and it all shines through your art. I would highly recommend you because I know you’re the right artist with the right attitude.  Cemal Polat, FOUNDER 215HACKNEY

AWAKEN GENIUS

Jelly’s innovative ideas and solutions were a real catalyst towards our achievement so far. Jelly served not only as a useful individual asset to our company, but also as a cooperative and attentive team-player. Her actions consistently inspired and motivated our other community members. She understood intuitively when colleagues were confused, lost, or off-track, and brought those individuals back on task without judgment. She was also aware of rifts developing during group projects, and her management skills reunited teams without making either side feel defensive or alienated. In the time that I have known and worked with Jelly, I have developed an enduring respect for both her integrity, work ethic, and her problem-solving abilities. It was an honour to have worked with her.

BROCKLEY MAX FESTIVAL

Jelly was commissioned to paint a mural of the environmental activist Rosamond Adoo-Kissi-Debrah as part of the Black Icons project which was funded by the Mayor of London.  Jelly researched the project and her subject, and along with input from Rosamund, produced a design which was visually arresting as well as a celebration of Rosamund and her work.  Throughout this process, Jelly was communicative and open to suggestions. During the painting she was highly professional and took on board the risk assessment requirements as she was working on a narrow pavement by a busy road.  Her work was executed within the time allocated and on budget, and the finished mural was exactly as her design showed.  The response from the public has been incredible (as well as from Rosamund!) and has become one of the major street artworks in Brockley SE London

LEWISHAM EDUCATION ARTS NETWORK (LEAN)

Jelly delivered three sessions to three separate Year 9 classes at an inner city secondary school using a combination of powerpoint where she talked about her personal creative journey and practical workshop activities that the pupils engaged in themselves. She was thoughtful and creative in her preparation and adapted her talk and workshop to suit the age of the pupils (average 14 years old) and the equipment available to them. All of Jelly’s sessions were very successful. Pupils warmed to her and found her inspiring. They asked interesting and interested questions which Jelly answered well and teachers were impressed by the quality of the work that the pupils created themselves during the workshop. Jelly was a joy to work with, professional, sensitive to the task at hand, informative, fun and inspiring. I have no hesitation in highly recommending her.
