My painting is both covid and non covid related. Lately there’s been a lot of artwork featuring masks, but my painting explores the fact that we all wear masks at various times in our lives. Be that from insecurity, vulnerability, fear, self preservation and more. I hope my painting relays these emotions. As someone with multiple autoimmune conditions, I know I wear my mask to get through the everyday pain, exhaustion, worry and gaslighting. For me it’s self preservation just to survive another day.
