RIYA. This painting was commissioned with love by jungle legend @voice_mc for the beautiful dnb queen @_riyality_ as a surprise birthday gift..With spray paint and acrylic I wanted the painting to exude good vibrations, an ethereal capture of Riya’s musical and DJing talents to her passion for all things holistic and spiritual. The Flower of Life was a real challenge which required buying a massive 8 inch compass and a geometry throwback. (Yeah turns out you do need it kids!) It was complicated and I did stab myself with the compass but amazingly at some point it felt there was a divine intervention and it started just drawing itself! Involving so many elements which resonate in my own life it was a pleasure to create. Riya loves the painting and no doubt Voice has scored some serious brownie points
